At Halo Meal, product safety and quality are well maitained at every stage of manufacturing. Our production facility adheres to stringent regulatory and quality management standards, holding certifications including BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System).
Our BIS certification at the manufacturing facility ensures compliance with nationally prescribed standards applicable to infant nutrition products, supporting consistent quality across every batch manufactured. Our GMP-compliant facility follows rigorous hygiene protocols, controlled manufacturing environments, and standardized processes across raw material handling, production, packaging, and storage.
The HACCP certification at the manufacturing facility reflects a systematic, science-based approach to identifying and controlling potential hazards—biological, chemical, or physical at critical points across the manufacturing process, ensuring preventive controls are in place before products are manufactured and released.
Building on this, our ISO 22000 certification at the manufacturing facility integrates HACCP principles within a comprehensive food safety management system, enabling ongoing risk assessment and hazard control across the procurment of raw materials, production process, quality assurance and supply chain of the finished product.
All manufacturing practices are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations which also includs the Infant Milk Substitutes, Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods (Regulation of Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 1992 (IMS Act), and its subsequent amendments.
The quality assurance team at the manufacturing facility conducts regular audits, in-process checks, and finished product testing to uphold these standards are followed consistently.
